Performing Arts is geared toward fostering and enhancing the self-expression, communication skills and creativity of our students.
SPJE students experience a rich and varied Performing Arts at program involving Music,Dance and Drama, both integrated and focussed.
Our Music curriculum offers experiences with tuned instruments such as the xylophone, ukulele and voice, as well as the percussion instruments, including the djembe drum.
We are proud to offer choir to all students at the school as an extra-curricular activity. Our choirs perform throughout the year at school, and the Senior Choir performs at various community events, too.
Every two years the Senior students perform in a full scale musical production performed at Mt Lilydale Mercy College Performing Arts Centre. In the past we have presented Aladdin, Shrek, Mulan, The Wizard of Oz and Madagascar, to name a few.
